The very first Avélo bike frame designed by us, was made 2002, in Titanium, and in one ex especially for my own use. My intention was to be the first to use this material before my Ironman competitors, and that was really a success, as I never had made a better result as when using this bike. A long time before this, I had a dream that was starting a new bicycle make of my own. Ever since that a project in secret, developing the best frame, within each bike product area, where the most important qualities are speed, endurance and strength has been ongoing. However, this was not possible until I, during a competition abroad in 2006, got in contact with the legends within biking business, the Lee Brothers and Lui Yuing from China, who all have been involved in producing the most exclusive existing carbon fibre frames. I got their assistance, to from the very best present carbon fibre frames, make small and smart changes and the intention is that we will be at the front in developing competition bikes. The frames are made to reach the maximum of stiff, aerodynamic and optimized weight, manufactured in the latest vacuum techniques and baked in advanced ovens.
